Forget the books that supposedly try to teach you how to beat your traffic ticket – they are all wrong from the very first sentence when they tell you to plead not guilty. Once you enter a plea, you have immediately consented to their jurisdiction over you. But do they legally have this jurisdiction over you? Did the police officer have a warrant with your name on it when they pulled you over? Of course not. Did they tell you that you were under arrest and read you your Miranda rights? Of course not

Police officers and detectives are trained in criminal investigation.
• Police officers and detectives are usually experienced expert witnesses and are trained in getting incriminating statements from suspects.
• Police officers and detectives will sometimes deceive or trick you into doing something or making a statement.
For example:
• "Come to the station. We just want to find out what happened. We just want to talk to you. " "We have all sorts of evidence against you." "Your friend has already told us you were involved." "If you don't tell us your version of what happened, at trial, the prosecutor will say you just made this story up with your lawyer." "We have this whole thing on video. (showing you a videocassette which is usually blank)." Despite what the police officer or detective might say, your silence cannot be used against you in Court.

The open invitation I offered in the CBT was intended to identify members who may want to form a "think tank" towards Identifying and moving forward on joint project(s) that will improve our lives and those within our communities.

The princeiple for today is Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility). This principle underscores the need for Black people to work together for the common good, referred to as the Summon Bonnum by the Ancients in Kemet (Egypt). This principle recognizes as well the Oneness of humanity and the fact that our thoughts, words and actions send vibrations that affects us all and the environment in which we live. As such, it is important that we be all on the same page tp collectively raise the vibration of the planet that we create heaven on Earth.
If you have gotten this far... let's see how far WE can take this new venture?
